We run a gallery specialized in Antiques from the 20th century in Vienna since 2000. On ebay we are selling original and authentic reproductions from workshops like Carl Auböck, Walter Bosse and Vienna Bronzes by Bermann. All these objects are authentic, these workshops are still producing the pieces in the old manner with the old and original moulds. All these pieces are handmade in Austria, produced by the rights owner. Our antiques (Hagenauer, Bosse, Goldscheider, etc.) are currently not listed on ebay.

We do our best to satisfy your high expectations. In the past we did our job well, I think. But also we can make a mistake, so if any questions or problems occur, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We try to ship on the same day or the day after the arrival of payment. Please be aware that Austrian post offices are closed on weekends and holidays. Usually the delivery is quick, an average delivery time to the UK or USA is about 7-10 business days, sometimes the post is faster, sometimes slower. I send all shipments by registered mail, if a parcel does not arrive within 2-3 weeks, I can start an investigation at the post office, but this investigation takes another 2-3 weeks before I get a result. There is no tracking service provided by the Austrian post, but your shipment can be tracked when an investigation is started at the post office. 99% of my shipments arrive in a timely manner, if there is a problem with a shipment please ask also your neighbors if they accepted a parcel for you and forgot to inform you, I had this situation before.

Unfortunately there is no other shipping service which I can recommend at a reasonable price. FedEx, UPS and DHL are extremely expensive here in Austria. If you want a quicker service please choose priority shipping, but usually economy shipping is fast enough (USA 7-10 days).

We are member of the ebay vero programm that helps to protect the rights of copyright-holder. We try to protect the interests of the designs created by the Workshop Hagenauer. Unfortunately there are some objects on the market that have not been produced by the Workshop Hagenauer. If you want to list a Hagenauer object and you are unsure about its authenticity, please contact us under office@karlhagenauer.at. Please also send us pictures of the object and its markings. We are happy if we can help with our opinion. When we find a listing on ebay that is obviously a counterfeit, we usually contact the seller and ask him to edit or close the auction. Most faked pieces are of poor quality and that harms the market for Hagenauer products as the Workshop Hagenauer always tried to produce in outstanding quality. If we contact a seller and he edits the auction in a way that it is clear for the potential buyer that the object is not a product from the Workshop Hagenauer, the listing can be kept running. If the seller refuses to cooperate, we are forced to report the object to ebay. Most sellers are very cooperative. I personally don't like to report listings to ebay and I only do that if I am 100% sure that the object concerned is a fake, 95% is not enough.

About objects that look like Hagenauer. Please describe them as 'Hagenauer style' or 'Hagenauer manner' or 'Hagenauer era' in your title and description.
